Michael also assists owners with 1031 exchanges into larger properties, triple-net leased investments, or reinvestment into non real property investments through affiliations with reputable financial planners. Jody has been managing properties in San Jose since 1987. She is the primary instructor of the California Certified Residential Manager (CCRM) Program at California Apartment Association (CAA Tri-County). Jody has written dozens of programs for CAA’s members and teaches corporate colleges on various property management subjects, specializing in Fair Housing. Through-out the years, Jody has served on the education board for California Apartment Association, as well as numerous committees. Jody was also co-founder and instructor for the City of San Jose’s “Project Blossom”, a training course and bootcamp for owners of income property, for over 11 years. Jody is called upon regularly by TCAA to speak on various rental housing issues. She has also held classes for Santa Clara County Association of Realtors (SCCAOR), Project Sentinel, and many other groups across Silicon Valley. Jody’s experience and knowledge in the property management field spans 40 years, and she continues to be involved in the on-going education of south bay income property owners and managers. Jody actively consults with owners, helping to strengthen and maximize management procedures, operations and practices, ensuring compliance with current laws and regulations. Jody’s “hands on” consults with property owners imparts a unique management style geared toward major success for owners who wish to manage their own properties.
Rebecca Nevarez, CCRM

Rebecca Nevarez serves as the firm’s Property Manager, Escrow Coordinator and Office Manager. She is responsible for overseeing the physical aspects of property management, interacting with tenants and owners, leasing units, and supervising repairs for our clients’, and our own investments. As a licensed real estate agent, she assists the firm’s brokers and agents in the marketing of multifamily properties and handles the residential properties (such as single family homes) that our clients ask us to sell. Rebecca also manages the transactions for the Managing Broker, ensuring that all terms of the agreements are met and schedules are adhered to. With more than 20 years’ experience in a variety of real estate positions, Rebecca is aptly suited to ensure that every transaction is completed on time and as specified. Erik Nielsen, CCRM

Erik Nielsen serves as an investment advisor specializing in the purchase and sale of multifamily properties in Santa Cruz and Monterrey counties. Erik has more than ten years of sales and marketing experience and has served in the financial industry for more than five years. Prior to joining Silicon Valley Multifamily Group, he served as an investment advisor specializing in multifamily properties for Marcus &Millichap. Erik has more than five years’ experience owning and managing multifamily property, as well as serving as the president of a neighborhood association. Prior to brokerage, he served as a licensed financial specialist at Wells Fargo and Wachovia banks, assisting clients with drawing short and long-term financial plans to diversify and protect wealth. He is also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Erik graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with dual degrees in Computer Science and Philosophy. Tiffany Barrett, CCRM
Tiffany is a California Certified Residential Manager and serves as the firm’s Assistant Property Manager and Marketing Coordinator. Her responsibilities range from assisting the Broker with all marketing material to caring for client’s rental properties. Her personal goal is to be a knowledgeable and ethical resource for her peers and community. In the past eight successful years in her career she has established a trend of increasing organizational profitability with her ability to translate data into successful business strategies. While working for a million dollar Propane Company, she earned the title of Western Regional Growth Champion for increasing sales and maintaining engagement with clients. The success she has experienced is a product of her Bachelors of Science in Business with a Digital Marketing certificate from the University of Phoenix and her Associates of Arts in Product Development from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. She is a Bay Area native and dog mom to her French Bulldog, Quimby.
